Hong Kong is one of the most unique cities in the world. An international trade centre for over two hundred years, the city experienced unprecedented growth in the aftermath of the second world war, developing into one of the most powerful international finance centres .
And Hong Kong is not just an economic success, the city has a rich and vibrant culture which manifests itself in art, fashion, cuisine, theatre, cinema and architecture. Hong Kong’s beauty is not limited to the city’s tourist attractions , the city’s urban beauty can be found in every corner of this sprawling metropolis, as the pictures below clearly indicate.
